Girls speak out for equal access


Student Bianca Place presents findings of a student-led investigation into gender inequities in school sports to the Twin Valley School Board.

WHITINGHAM- Twin Valley girls want equal access to sports opportunities, student representatives told Twin Valley School Board members Wednesday evening.  
Students Bianca Place and Tori Dix presented their investigative report detailing several issues and instances of imbalances between school and community support for boys’ sports and girls’ sports.  The inequalities Place and Dix highlighted included differences in funding, equipment, and facilities.
