Future of town’s business grant program discussed

DOVER - At the selectboard’s meeting on Tuesday, May 21, the board said it was open to hearing more about running a business grant program, which the town has already set aside funding for, through the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation.
The board also reviewed, but put off adopting, proposed changes to its personnel policy. And the board instructed road commissioner Bobby Holland to require permits at the town’s transfer station due to a predicted influx of users in the wake of Wilmington taking away its downtown recycling receptacles.
