Formula shortage is causing stress for local parents

WILMINGTON - The valley has not been spared from the national baby formula shortage causing stress for parents. Shaw’s and Walgreens each have sparsely stocked shelves, and both retailers have put limits on how much formula can be purchased at once. Amid the shortage, doctors are urging parents not to follow ill-advised tips circulating the internet, including diluting formula, feeding a baby goat’s milk or other milk alternatives, and making your own formula.
