Valley spared from worst of Monday deluge
DEERFIELD VALLEY- Towns along the Deerfield River and its tributaries were breathing a sigh of relief Monday afternoon, when the river crested and quickly receded without the major flooding or damage they experienced during Tropical Storm Irene.
