Dover voters approve all articles, budget tops $6 million for first time


As has become tradition, in Dover, moderator Rich Werner handed out Lyman’s pickled products to those who answered trivia questions correctly at the beginning of Town Meeting. Werner said that this year, in an effort to cater to new voters, his questions focused more on the rules of how Town Meeting works and less on town history. Lauren Harkawik

DOVER - Dover held its annual Town Meeting at Dover Town Hall on Town Meeting day. Though conversation about the town’s warned articles was robust, all articles were passed, and the vast majority were passed unanimously. As a result of all articles being adopted, the town’s budget will be above $6 million for the first time, marking an overall 4.5% increase in spending for the town.
