Dover to buy 50 acres
DOVER - At Tuesday’s meeting of the Dover Selectboard, the board approved the purchase of a 50-acre piece of land for trails and recreation venue development.
The property at 46 Crosstown Road was referred to throughout the discussion as the “Ettlinger property.”
It’s actually two pieces of property — 48.62 acres currently held by Irving Samuel, LLC, and two acres held by Shirley Basso Trust. An appraisal, which was completed in February, resulted in a market value opinion of $240,000. The property was appraised as a “single economic unit.”
