Dog owner sues town following vicious dog order

Windham Superior Court Civil Division in Newfane

DOVER - In a suit filed with Windham Superior Court on Friday, September 25, Diana Dee has asked the court to overturn an order put forth by the Dover Selectboard regarding a vicious dog complaint made against Dee’s dog, Gemini. The suit, which was filed by attorney Lance Shader, says Gemini is a registered support dog for Dee and alleges that the board’s gathering of facts was incomplete, that the terms of the board’s order are “unreasonable, overreaching, and erroneous,” and that the board did not afford Dee equal treatment under the law.
