Development group to reevaluate makeup, how members appointed
WILMINGTON - At a meeting of the bi-town economic development committee on Thursday, December 6, members present decided to reevaluate its makeup and how members are appointed to it.
The reevaluation of the makeup of the committee’s board comes after a suggestion by Vicki Capitani, who serves on the committee as a representative of the Dover Selectboard. She said she was making the recommendation because at 12 members, the committee often has difficulty getting a quorum.
“It really creates a problem when we have several people not show up,” said Capitani.
