DEERFIELD VALLEY- Areas of the valley that have been without internet for decades may soon have access to high-speed fiber-optic service, thanks to an agreement approved by the Deerfield Valley Communications District board at a special meeting on Thursday, July 1.
The DVCUD announced they have entered into a memorandum of understanding with Great Works Internet to begin building their fiber-optic network in the district’s most underserved towns, including Whitingham, Halifax, Marlboro, Readsboro, Stamford, and Wardsboro.
