Complications with Whitingham sewer project

WHITINGHAM - The Whitingham Selectboard addressed a recently-discovered complication to the sewer project at their regular meeting Wednesday, March 23.
The complication involves a tilted manhole behind the Whitingham sewer plant. While it was always a part of the project to straighten out the manhole, the bank had eroded enough for it to stick out of the ground. The problem was first noticed at a pre-bid conference, when interested bidders visited Jacksonville and Whitingham’s sewer plants.
