Community rallies to help Carinthia fire victims

DOVER - A benefit will be held on Sunday to raise money to help three fire victims who lost their home, two of whom were burned and are recovering in the hospital.
The three victims — Jake Gaudet, Casey Savage, and Robert Black — are employees of Carinthia Parks at Mount Snow. They shared an apartment in Newfane, which caught fire in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 13.
Savage, who along with Black suffered burns and is still recovering in the hospital, posted an account of the fire on Instagram.
