DEERFIELD VALLEY - At its meeting on Wednesday, September 16, the governing board of the Deerfield Valley Communications Union District said the district will use most of a $100,000 grant to conduct a pole study in the district’s towns that are most in need of connectivity. In addition, vice chair Steven John said a business plan created through a Broadband Innovation Grant received by Windham Regional Commission is forthcoming. And Zon Eastes, of the communications committee, said the CUD will henceforth be known as “DVFiber.”
