Club members close on Hermitage deal
BURLINGTON- The Hermitage Club Member Group closed on their acquisition of Hermitage real estate Wednesday, after a court order cleared title issues that had been holding up the process.
On Tuesday, Vermont District Bankruptcy Court Judge Colleen Brown signed an order denying an earlier motion by Berkshire Bank seeking to compel the Hermitage Club Member Group to close on the Hermitage real estate. Brown's order also cleared up title issues regarding four lien holders, and canceled a hearing set for Wednesday afternoon.
