Child care bill sees unanimous support in Senate, will increase funding

MONTPELIER - Legislators held a virtual press event on Friday, April 30,  following the Senate’s passage of H.171, an act “Relating to the governance and financing of Vermont’s child care system.” The bill, which passed the Senate 30-0, aims to make affordable, quality child care more accessible to more families; to support child care providers; and to support the people who work at child care centers.
