Carris Duncan wins open seat

WHITINGHAM- Democratic candidate Emily Carris Duncan carried the day in the Windham-6 district House race with 1,316 votes, about 254 more than rival Republican candidate Pam Baker.
“I’m really thankful and honored for the opportunity to serve the community,” Carris Duncan said, following her victory. “There are folks who didn’t vote for me, but I’m there to work as hard as I can for them, too.”
