Candidates square off for Whitingham board

WHITINGHAM- Candidates vying for two open selectboard seats met with about 50 voters in a forum moderated by Leon Corse Tuesday evening.
Laurie Brown, Marshall Dix, Scott Reed, and Lyman “Skip” Tefft are running for for the remainder of a two-year term that expires in 2020. Craig Hammer is running unopposed for the remainder of a three-year term that also expires in 2020. The positions opened after board member Allan Twitchell resigned days before Town Meeting, and selectboard chair Keith Bronson resigned shortly after Town Meeting.
