Business owners want less plan, more action with 1% funds

DOVER- At Steve Neratko’s monthly economic development meeting with business owners, tension built when Mount Snow Marketplace and Valley View Saloon owner Adam Levine and Layla’s Riverside Lodge owner Sandy MacDougall said they thought Neratko should start spending the town’s $1.7 million 1% fund rather than go through further planning with which projects to prioritize. Neratko said he is not in a position to make decisions without approval from the selectboard.
