Board told that more than $1 million of expenses found, not budgeted by previous administration

WILMINGTON- In a shocking revelation, Windham Southwest Supervisory Union Superintendent Bill Bazyk told board members Wednesday, November 6, that his team had uncovered more than $1 million in unbudgeted special education expenses in the current fiscal year 2025 WSWSU budget. 
In all, Bazyk identified $1,169,765 in unbudgeted expenses that he uncovered while creating a first draft of the fiscal year 2026 budget.
