Board tables commercial reappraisal

DOVER - At its meeting on Tuesday, the Dover Selectboard told town assessor Linda Sherman and assessor consultant Jeremiah Sund to table a commercial reappraisal that the pair recommended the town undergo. In other matters, police chief Randy Johnson said issues with stop signs on Handle Road have been exacerbated in recent months, and the board approved its budget and, breaking with precedent, will request that representatives for the library talk to voters about the library’s appropriation at Town Meeting this year.
