WILMINGTON - The Wilmington Selectboard heard an update on the Hoot, Toot & Whistle Trail project, masks, zoning laws, and continued annoyances with Walgreens during their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, September 21.
Trail committee members Bob Fisher and Joanne Yankura gave the board an update on the Hoot, Toot & Whistle Trail project. The committee is hoping to bring the trail up to rail trail standards. According to Yankura, there is no official definition of rail trail standards, but it generally means “a more level, or at least a gentler, sloping path.”
