Board seeks budget input from public at meeting
HALIFAX - During their regular meeting, which was delayed until Thursday, January 5, the Halifax Selectboard discussed final budget preparations.
The board is preparing to finalize their budget during a meeting on Tuesday, January 24, at 6 pm. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
Two considerations regarding the highway budget will be discussed at the meeting, the first of which concerns highway worker wages. “We felt we were middle-low, generally speaking, with our (highway department wage) package,” said board member Pete Silverberg.
