Board reverses course, agrees to fund units from development fund

DOVER - A motion to fund GPS units for Dover’s trails-focused search and rescue group out of economic development funds was approved at the Dover Selectboard’s meeting on Tuesday. At the board’s last meeting, a similar motion failed after several board members said they felt the expenditure should come out of the town’s general fund. In a separate matter, interim health officer Rich Werner and newly-appointed zoning administrator Tabi Freedman warned the board that a property in town may need an emergency health order.
