Board nixes occupancy plan, sets new sewer rate

WHITINGHAM - Over the course of two meetings, the Whitingham Selectboard heard concerns about, debated, and ultimately decided against a proposal to bill sewer users based on a building’s maximum occupancy. 
The proposal was suggested by board member James Weber at their October 5 meeting, citing a recommendation by the nonprofit RCAP Solutions and his experience as a bed-and-breakfast owner.
