Board holds off on staying virtual

WILMINGTON- The Wilmington Selectboard met in person Tuesday night for the first time in over a year. With new name signs and new chairs, they set the tax rate, discussed whether or not to keep a virtual component to their meetings, and responded to two requests for funding from the town’s 1% local option tax fund.
Wilmington Finance Officer Christine Richer offered a tax rate recommendation for fiscal year 2022. The board unanimously approved the rate at 0.5881.
