Board balks at tree removal request
DOVER- Selectboard members rejected a request from a neighboring property owner to remove or trim trees on town property at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 5.
Road Commissioner Travis Briggs said the owner of a Taft Brook Road property abutting Dover Town Hall initially contacted him about a large tree on the town’s property that could endanger hers. Briggs said he agreed, and noted there were a couple of other trees on the town’s property that should also be removed.
