Benchmarks looking good, socials skills need work

DOVER - The Dover School Board met on Monday. At the meeting, principal Matt Martyn said he is encouraged by midyear benchmarking with regard to basic skills, and that he and the school’s staff are looking into implementing a “social curriculum.” In other matters, chair Rich Werner said the board would be available to answer questions at this year’s Town Meeting in Dover, despite the fact that most school business will be handled at the River Valleys Unified Union School District’s annual meeting on February 12.
