Barnes, real estate agent, fined for bad practices

WILMINGTON- The Vermont Real Estate Commission assessed fines and penalties against James Barnes and Bobbi-Ann Resek for illegal real estate practices in connection with Hermitage Club Realty in a decision issued in July.
In an order signed by acting chair Paige Farrington, the Vermont Real Estate Commission assessed a fine of $5,000 against Barnes and Hermitage Club Realty, and a fine of $2,500 against Resek.  In addition, Resek’s expired real estate license was revoked.  The fines must be paid within 90 days following the date of the order.
