Ballot audit comes up clean

MONTPELIER- Dover was one of seven towns randomly selected to participate in an audit of election results by the Vermont Secretary of State’s office last week.
According to Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos, an audit is required by law after every general election.  “It’s one important way we verify the accuracy and integrity of votes in Vermont,” he said.  “It provides the public with the peace of mind that our official results match the will of the people.”
