Ambulance issue taken off life support

DOVER- A request made by a voter at Town Meeting to explore an alternative ambulance service for the town was laid to rest at Tuesday evening’s selectboard meeting.
At Town Meeting, and again at the board’s meeting on Tuesday, March 21, Dover resident Gerie Golet asked the board to solicit response rate data from Deerfield Valley Rescue and Rescue Inc. for comparison, and consider choosing the service with the best response time to be Dover’s service provider.  Golet also suggested the board compare the training individuals in each service receive, as well.
