After three generations, family delivers last letter

DOVER - “Everything comes to an end.” So said Warren Bartlett this week, reflecting on the end of an era in Dover. After three generations, the Bartlett family is no longer delivering the mail on a route that covers an 80-mile radius comprising Williamsville, Marlboro, South Newfane, and East and West Dover.
The first Bartlett to deliver mail on the route was named Edwin H. Bartlett. The last one was, too. The elder Edwin was the younger’s namesake, though the younger goes by Eddie. In between the two was Warren, Edwin’s son and Eddie’s father.
