MARLBORO- Last week, Marlboro College announced a tentative partnership deal with Emerson College.  Under the deal, Marlboro’s programs, students, and faculty will be relocated to Emerson’s Boston campus.  Emerson will rename their Institute for Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies for Marlboro.  Some staff at the college will receive severance packages.  Marlboro’s Potash Hill campus will be closed, and the property, along with the college’s endowment, currently totaling about $40 million, will be given to Emerson College.
