Disaster Recovery Center moves to Wardsboro, opens Saturday

WINDHAM COUNTY- The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Jamaica has relocated to Wardsboro.
It will open at 8 am, Saturday, August 26, and continue with regular hours of 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. The new location is Wardsboro Town Hall at 99 Main Street.
Other recovery centers are also open 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday.
FEMA is committed to ensuring disaster assistance is accomplished equitably, without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, nationality, sex, age, disability, English proficiency or economic status. Any disaster survivor or member of the public may contact the FEMA Civil Rights Office if they feel that they are the victim of discrimination, toll-free at (833) 285-7448. Multilingual operators are available.
