Theater residency at school borrows elements from across popular culture
Dover students rehearse on Wednesday.
DOVER - Late Wednesday morning, the fifth-graders at The Dover School were amid rehearsing a party scene. Music pumped through the air and the students got into the motions of a party — dancing, jumping in the air, socializing.
The party scene is part of a theater production the entire school will put on Friday. It’s the culmination of a weeklong theater residency led by Trish Denton.
