Local rider ends up sixth overall in the country
What’s it like to compete at nationals for the first time? A local youth shares her story.
DOVER - Sadie Wheeler started skiing when she was 2 years old while attending Mount Snow Childcare, but she didn’t transition to snowboarding until she was 7, with the Dover School’s winter sports program. Sadie, who is now 10, remembers those early days on a snowboard as difficult, but she wasn’t willing to give up.
