East Dover Fire Department to celebrate its 75th anniversary
EAST DOVER - “That department is very important to me.” So said Pat Haas, of the East Dover Fire Department. Haas was 8 years old when the house she was living in burned down. It was a house on the farm of her aunt and uncle, Lillian and Earl Yeaw, located in East Dover. The East Dover Fire Department, which will celebrate its 75th anniversary on September 16, was formed as a result of that fire.
