Duo on 48-state journey to raise awareness for domestic violence

WILMINGTON - Meredith Cherry and her horse Apollo spent a night at Adams Farm this week. The visit was part of a four-year, 48-state journey called “The Centauride.”
The Centauride is Cherry’s journey to raise awareness about domestic violence. Vermont is the 30th state Cherry and Apollo have visited since embarking on their journey three years ago in northern California. The pair travel approximately 10 to 15 miles per day. They entered Vermont through Bennington and then made their way east, where they spent a night at Adams Farm.
