Food Connects has announced that Lee Halpern has been named interim executive director. This transition follows the departure of founder and executive director Richard Berkfield, which was announced earlier this year.
Berkfield will support Halpern and the organization in his new role as founding director through May 1. Berkfield, who founded Food Connects over a decade ago, expressed his confidence in the transition.
