Time to be proactive
To The Editor,
In regards to the most recent flooding.
What is it going to take before the state decides the benefits of cleaning out the rivers will outweigh the damage flooding every five and a half months causes?
Also, how about the state or town taking the opportunity to purchase Wheeler field (across from the bowling alley) while it’s for sale to help with water levels.
With the 100- year floods turning into less than six months maybe it’s time to act before it’s too late.
