Sunday, February 7 ... It was a snowy forenoon, growing darker as snow increased. A car came into the drive, so very unusual at this time; my husband said “Company!”
A dear young woman, well-masked, came up on the snowy porch, telling me some Whitingham friends and family had prepared gifts for elders.
