As a veteran with eight years of active service and three years of reserve service, I thank Greg Brown (letter to the editor, Thursday, March 23) for his concern and support for my fellow veterans. One of the best ways we can support veterans is by supporting leaders and legislation that address and fund services for veterans. Too many politicians are happy to have veterans in their campaign photos but are less enthusiastic when it comes down to funding our obligations to those who served.
