Rotary scholarship changes
To the Editor,
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the Rotary Club of the Deerfield Valley Fund Board has assessed the club’s commitment to the valley and its residents. We are working diligently to support the immediate needs of our community: food, fuel, and Deerfield Valley Rescue.
With this commitment, the Rotary Club has also reassessed our scholarship offerings for 2020. We will be awarding two $1,000 Dennis Butchko scholarships to eligible students this year.
We will forgo the Frank Spencer Scholarships and hopefully will reinstate them in 2021.
