Readsboro voters’ options not so simple
Editor's note: The following is a "My Turn" op-ed by Readsboro resident and former school board chair Larry Hopkins on Readsboro's upcoming Australian ballot vote to ratify or deny a vote by Halifax residents to withdraw from Southern Valley Unified Union School District. Because Halifax and Readsboro are the only two towns in the union district, a vote to ratify Halifax's vote would effectively dissolve the union.
