Radical elements of HR1
To the Editor,
We’re writing to ask that all Vermont residents contact Sen. Leahy’s and Sen. Sanders’ offices regarding House bill HR1 now before the Senate.
Vermont had its election policies as a state in place before the Federal Government was created.
Now more than ever, Vermonter’s need to reject any suggestion that handing over our state’s voting laws and voter policy autonomy to the federal government is not only counter to what the framers enshrined in our country’s constitution, it’s completely counter to Vermont’s independent nature as a state.
