One nation (not) under God
To the Editor,
Many years ago, Madeline Murray O’Hara was able to make it illegal for the Lord’s prayer to be recited in our schools. I can not imagine how she managed to accomplish this. Since then, it is so shocking that so much shooting, murdering, and vandalism happens in so many of our schools. It is probably because God feels he has been eliminated from the schools. My prayer is that when the schools open after COVID-19 pandemic, the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag be reinstated in all of our schools.
