Memorial Day thanks
To the Editor:
The American Legion and Rotary Club of the Deerfield Valley would like to thank everyone who attended this weekend’s Memorial Day events.
The weekend began with Rotary’s famous barbecue on Sunday. Although it was a chilly day, the rain held off and many in the community attended. Memorial Hall was decorated with historical memorabilia, patriotic decorations, and old military uniforms.
Many people walked through to tour, most who said they had never been in the hall before and never realized how nice it was.
