League of Women Voters glad to see court ruling for mail ballots

To the Editor,
The League of Women Voters of Vermont applauds the decision of federal Judge Geoffrey W. Crawford to deny the suit against the secretary of state, James C. Condos, challenging the legality of the plan to mail ballots to all active voters. The five plaintiffs claimed that the value of their votes will be diminished by the voter fraud resulting from the mailing of ballots. The judge found that the plaintiffs did not have standing to bring the suit.
