It’s in the air, voters; will it be heads or tails?
To the Editor,
Readsboro’s informational meeting held on Monday, August 3, for the vote to dissolve the Southern Valley School District on August 11, was another in along line of futile attempts to get answers.
The board’s discussion began with the history of Act 46 in our town from 2017 to the present.
The board then handed out a sample budget of the current FY21 costs if Readsboro was to stand alone, tried to explain it and then took questions from the floor.
