I read with interest your editorial of August 10 and I am glad that you have brought attention to this matter.
First of all, it is important to note that there are town employees and board members who go above and beyond in their jobs, who are helpful and courteous and I truly thank them. Public service, whether as an employee or a volunteer, can be a thankless job.
