We were greatly encouraged in reading last week’s DVN article, “Trout bums working to turn Deerfield Valley into fly-fishing mecca.” We have long believed that the Deerfield Valley offers such potential and are glad to learn of actual steps taken by others in realizing this potential. We are confident that doing so will simultaneously contribute to the local economy and add to the pride we take in our area of Vermont.
