Don’t fix what isn’t broken
To the Editor,
As you know, Readsboro’s 2021 Town Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 15, at 10 am at the school field.
I believe the requested raise and appropriations, if all pass, would be an overall increase of 3%, and appear in line with needs.
I do have concerns with Article #4. This is a request by the selectboard to be empowered to sell any town owned land as they wish as long as the buyer is not tax exempt.
I ask people to attend this meeting and voice their opposition and vote to deny this request. You must attend to vote.
